Roadway Condition Signs continued from page 22 cover Wind Cone, Fog Area, and shoulder-related W8 variants. Miscellaneous Warning Signs include W5-1 Narrow Bridge, W5-2 Narrow Road, W5-3 One Lane Bridge, W14-1 Dead End, W14-2 and W14-2a No Outlet, W17-1 Speed Hump, and W31 through W41 specialty warning signs for unusual roadway conditions. Supplemental Warning Placards (W4-4 and W16 series) are rectangular yellow plaques mounted below a main warning sign to add distance, direction, advisory speed, or qualifying information such as 500 FT, 1000 FT, 1 MILE, NEXT 3 MILES, AHEAD, NEW, or directional arrows.
