Page 73 of the Rice Signs 2017 Traffic Safety Catalog covers Aluminum Sign Blanks — the bare aluminum sheets used as substrates for custom signs and as replacement panels for damaged signs. Square & Rectangular Blanks come in standard MUTCD sizes from 12 by 12 inch up to 36 by 48 inch, typically on 0.080 inch aluminum (the most common thickness for traffic signs). Round Blanks are circle-cut aluminum for Do Not Enter, Yield, and roundabout signage in 12, 18, 24, and 30 inch diameters. Octagonal Blanks are pre-cut for Stop signs in 18, 24, 30, and 36 inch standard sizes. All blanks have rounded corners, are available in 0.063, 0.080, and 0.125 inch thicknesses, and are sold as raw aluminum (no graphics) for use with the Rice Signs custom-printing service.
