Engineer Grade Reflective Sheeting (ASTM Type I) is the baseline reflective material — beaded sheeting with a 7-year warranty for standard signs and property applications. High Intensity Prismatic (HIP) Reflective Sheeting (Type IV) uses prismatic microstructures for brighter night reflectivity and a 10-year service life — the standard for highway and municipal signage. Ultra Prismatic Grade Reflective Sheeting (Type IX-XI) is the brightest non-fluorescent grade with 12-year service life — used for high-speed highway and freeway signs. Fluorescent Ultra Prismatic Grade Reflective Sheeting adds fluorescent pigments for daytime conspicuity in fog, dusk, and twilight conditions — the standard for school-zone yellow-green and work-zone fluorescent orange signage. All grades are sold in 50 yard rolls in seven standard widths from 7 inch to 48 inch.
