Example Use:
When driving on a two-lane road, John noticed a school bus ahead of him slowing down with its yellow flashing lights activated. As he approached the bus, the lights changed to red and the STOP sign arm extended out from the side of the bus. Recognizing the signal, John came to a complete stop behind the bus, even though he didn't immediately see any children. He knew that children could be coming from any direction and might not be immediately visible. John patiently waited until the bus retracted its STOP sign arm and turned off its flashing red lights before proceeding with caution. He understood that by stopping for the school bus, he was ensuring the safety of the children loading and unloading, and also abiding by the law.
