What are restrictive signs?

Restrictive signs prohibit an action or a type of vehicle in a given area. Symbol versions use a red circle with a red diagonal slash over a symbol, and most text versions begin with the word No, such as No Trucks or No Parking.

What types of restrictive signs do you carry?

We carry No Trucks, No Texting, No Pedestrian, No Bicycle, No Engine Brake, Hazmat, and Truck Route sign categories, plus individual signs such as Do Not Enter (R5-1), Wrong Way (R5-1a), No Motor Vehicles (R5-3), Authorized Vehicles Only (R5-11), and No Thru Traffic (R10-9).

What is the difference between Do Not Enter and Wrong Way signs?

A Do Not Enter sign (R5-1) is posted at the entrance to a roadway to prohibit vehicles from entering, while a Wrong Way sign (R5-1a) is placed farther along to alert a driver who has already entered against the flow of traffic.

Are restrictive signs MUTCD compliant?

The R5, R9, and R10 series restrictive signs meet MUTCD specifications for public roads. Property and custom-worded versions are intended for private, non-MUTCD use.
