Barricade Lights and Flags

A barricade light is a portable, battery or solar powered warning light used to enhance visibility and safety around construction zones. It is typically attached to traffic cones, barriers, or barricades to alert motorists and pedestrians of potential hazards or changes in traffic patterns.

Example Use:

On a busy stretch of the I-95 interstate, construction crews prepared to perform essential maintenance on a damaged segment of the road. In order to safely guide drivers around the affected area and keep both motorists and workers safe, a series of detour signs was erected leading up to the work zone. However, given the high speeds at which vehicles travel and the abundance of surrounding visual stimuli, it was crucial to ensure these signs captured drivers' attention well in advance. To achieve this, bright orange barricade lights were affixed atop the signs, flashing rhythmically to command the attention of oncoming motorists. Additionally, orange and white striped flags were attached, fluttering in the breeze and adding another layer of motion to catch the eye. These enhancements ensured that even from a distance and amongst a backdrop of highway chaos, the signs were clearly visible, and drivers had ample time to adjust their routes accordingly.
