R7-GD Purpose and Use
The Double Arrow Green placard shows that the permissive parking allowance on the sign above it extends in both directions from the post.
Mount it under a green reserved, tenant, or visitor parking sign at the midpoint of a stall run so drivers see the allowance covers spaces on either side.
R7-GD Questions
What does the double arrow on the R7-GD mean?
It tells drivers the permissive parking allowance on the sign above applies to the spaces on both sides of the post, not just the stall directly in front of it.
Does the R7-GD need its own sign post?
No. It bolts to the post of the green parking sign it mounts beneath, using the existing holes, so no second post or new drilling is needed.
R7-GD Reflective Sheeting Options
Because the R7-GD mounts below a main sign and should match the sheeting above it, the T-11500 OmniCube - up to 60 percent brighter with a 12-year outdoor durability rating - is the safer choice when night visibility matters most, while the T-6500 High Intensity Prismatic delivers proven 10-year durability.

The R7-GD puts a green legend on a white reflective background, and white returns more light than any other color under ASTM D4956, so nearly the entire face lights up under headlights. That is why stepping up to the T-11500 OmniCube produces such a visible change on this sign: you are brightening the color that already dominates the sign face.

R7-GD Mounting Hole Pattern and Spacing
The R7-GD is a horizontal placard, so its mounting holes are spaced to line up with the holes of the sign it mounts beneath, letting both share a single post without drilling
