R7-8f Purpose and Use
This Handicap Parking Only variation reserves an accessible stall using a legend layout that differs from the R7-8a arrangement.
Choose it at accessible stalls where this layout fits your sign size or mounting position better than the R7-8a.
R7-8f Questions
How is the R7-8f different from the R7-8a?
Both carry the Handicap Parking Only legend. The R7-8f arranges it differently on the blank, which suits some sign sizes and mounting positions better. Compare the artwork before ordering a mixed set.
Should all the accessible stalls in one lot use the same layout?
Yes. Consistent signage across a lot reads as a single deliberate regulation and avoids the appearance that different stalls carry different rules.
R7-8f Reflective Sheeting Options
Because the R7-8f backs a legal parking restriction that has to stay legible for years of enforcement, the T-11500 OmniCube - up to 60 percent brighter with a 12-year outdoor durability rating - is the safer choice when night visibility matters most, while the T-6500 High Intensity Prismatic delivers proven 10-year durability.

The R7-8f puts a white legend on a majority blue background, and blue has lower retroreflectivity than white as defined by ASTM D4956. This sign therefore starts with less light return than a white-background sign of the same size. That makes the T-11500 OmniCube the more important upgrade here, not the less — it is what gets a blue sign readable from across a dark parking lot rather than only from a car length away.

R7-8f Mounting Hole Pattern and Spacing
The R7-8f has mounting holes on the vertical centerline, equally spaced from the top and bottom edges: the standard pattern for u-channel and square post mounting.
