Curve Left Sign Specifications

Use it wherever the alignment shifts smoothly enough that drivers need awareness rather than hard braking; W1-1L is the correct choice when the change is abrupt. On longer or blind arcs, chevrons (W1-8) placed through the bend give continuous guidance that a single advance sign cannot. W1-2R covers curves to the right.
