Introduction
Need to install traffic signs, but don’t know where to begin? This page is for you. Our hardware and tool selection includes everything you need to get the installation job done right.
When should I choose the Basic Sign Mounting Hardware?
Choose our standard hardware option if cost-effectiveness is a priority in your project. If you are installing signs in an area prone to vandals and want a highly secure installation, take a look at our H-110 or H-110-T vandal-resistant hardware
How do I choose between the two sets of vandal-resistant hardware?
Both sets of hardware are equally secure and vandal-resistant, so choosing between the two options is up to your preference. One option includes tuffnuts and the other option includes tripoint nuts.
Tuffnuts can be installed with a standard crescent wrench, and tripoint nuts require the specialized Universal Tool for installation.
What's the difference between installing signs with bolts or with rivets?
Both hardware styles can mount signs securely, and both can be used for permanent installation. The difference is that bolts can be removed from posts when needed. In contrast, rivets are mechanically fused to posts, so installation can't be reversed.
Can the "Chain Link Sign Installation Bracket" be used on other mounting surfaces?
Since the "Chain Link Sign Installation Bracket" is specially designed for the unique shape of chain link fences, it is generally not suited for use on other surfaces.
