The Exit Advisory Speed sign, MUTCD W13-2, indicates the safe speed at which a driver should travel while negotiating a freeway exit ramp. It helps to improve safety by providing drivers with advance notice of the exit ramp and informing them of the appropriate speed to safely navigate the exit.
